Regretfully, we have not kept the guestbook section of the Schuyler Art Blog as up to date as I'd like. Hopefully, with the start of 2013, we will be able to keep the
Welcome, all, to the third year of the Schuyler Art Website; we have just had our first inquiry from a person who has a painting by Ted Schuyler that they are interested in selling. Needless to say, this has never been envisioned as a sales site, only informational. However, if anyone has any ideas to share about the possibilities, let us know.
We are now well into the second year of the Schuyler Art Website. Tish has moved to New Mexico, and hopefully will be able to continue to contribute more posts to the various categories as she makes contact with many of the "collectors" out there who have works by Ted and Lee in their collections. Stay tuned -- and if you are one of those collectors, by all means get in touch! Starting the New Year, the second year of the Schuyler Art Website, we hope that some of the friends of Ted and Lee who have not yet shared some of their recollections of the Schuylers, as well as their cherished paintings will get the word, and get in touch. We have now been on line with Schuyler Art for about six months. We've added a lot of new items, but we're still hoping that other friends and family of Ted and Lee (and Trudie) will still respond and send us their comments, or perhaps send good digital photos of their own examples of Schuyler art for addition to the website. Contact Trudie at [email protected] if you want to send something. So, its been a few months since we started the website and we've been getting lots of ideas and suggestions. We would love to publish any Schuyler artwork that you have at your home, too, especially if it has a story attached to it. Take a digital picture of the piece (close range) and email it to Trudie or Tish and we'll get it posted. Include the year it was painted, size, what medium (watercolor, oil, etc) and any anecdotes you'd care to share. As always continue to share your comments with us by clicking on the Comments link above. Thanks for visiting our website. If you are interested in contributing information concerning the Schuylers or their artwork, leave a message below. |
